AP Spanish Language
Students in this class should expect to be met with enriching and challenging activities everyday involving authentic materials and high order thinking. They should also expect to spend an hour or so outside of class every week practicing vocabulary and grammar with Quizlet and reviewing materials. For their efforts they will be left with high level reading, writing, and speaking skills in the Spanish language, greater appreciation and understanding of the Spanish speaking word, and be rewarded with concurrent credit in Spanish 301. This will give them three credits at the third year level from the University of Idaho which they can transfer to any institution they choose to attend. Juniors are heavily encouraged to take AP Spanish Literature their senior year which will earn them three more credits at the university third year level.
