AP Spanish Literature
Students in this class will read, discuss, and write about forty-one masterful pieces of literature from the Spanish speaking world. Most works are very short but profound and contain insights to the world and the human condition that are very different to those read in English classes. The oldest work is from the Fifteenth Century and several come from the very exciting modern period known as the "Boom". We end with the greatest thing that has ever resulted from pen being put to paper, Don Quijote. Students will be rewarded with three concurrent credits in Spanish 302
